Sipadan" connects individuals with Pulau Sipadan’s untouched beauty while actively conserving it. The brand offers a luxurious, environmentally sensitive retreat that blurs the lines between luxury and nature.


In the process of redesigning the Sipadan logo, the focus was on simplifying the existing design with geometric shapes for a cleaner, modern aesthetic. Contemporary colors were carefully chosen to reflect the brand’s values, removing complex gradients and shadows for a sleek appearance. Retaining essential elements ensures the logo’s original recognition, while optimizing negative space enhances versatility across platforms. Updated typography complements the new design, preserving Sipadan’s brand heritage with a visually appealing, modern logo.

Design Decisions

We’ve reimagined the logo of Sipadan by infusing it with deeper meaning. Drawing inspiration from keywords that epitomize the brand – ‘sunset, luxury, harmony, discovery, conservation, nature, and island’ – we’ve seamlessly integrated them into a single, resonant logo. Notably, we’ve introduced a full shaded circle, symbolizing the serene sunset and the opulent golden sands of Sipadan’s beaches, aligning perfectly with the brand’s identity.

Structure

The use of geometric shapes in create this logo helps to creating an image with a meaningful story, without being too complex. They are easy to remember and recognizable.


Geometric shapes also give a clean, eye-catching, and modern vibe.

Colour choice

Harmonious Coastal Green: This shade combines dark green with a hint of blue, evoking the natural beauty of coastal landscapes. It represents the vibrant marine life surrounding Sipadan, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to conservation and the harmony between nature and luxury.


Opulent Sunset Gold: This luxurious gold hue embodies the opulence and sophistication associated with the brand. It signifies the golden sands of Sipadan’s beaches at sunset, providing a touch of elegance and luxury to the brand’s identity.
